An oceanfront home of travertine, white oak and soft plaster, where every room turns toward the water.

A house on the water, designed around the light coming off the Pacific. The palette is pared back on purpose: travertine, white oak and limewash plaster, with linen at the windows, so nothing competes with the view.

The warmth is in the detail. There are beaded bronze pulls on the closet wall, stoneware on oak shelves, a reading nook tucked beside the stair, and a bedroom where the first thing you see each morning is the horizon.
